Come and enjoy camping on the ancestral Cerro del Pico Rodadero in the Sierra Alta community of the town of Yauco. We will explore and camp the second highest mountain peak in this city. From there you will appreciate an unparalleled panoramic view of the entire south and southwest of Puerto Rico. This karst zone area contains unique ancestral stories of our Taínos who used these spaces in times past.
We will be walking through clayey terrain, along slippery and narrow paths. We will welcome the new year 2026 in this magical place, participate in a cacao ceremony, and enjoy a wonderful and spectacular time in the Sierra Alta de Yauco.
