Walk and connect with the Stone Forest and take a dip in the La Grieta pond.
Walk, get to know and connect with one of the most spectacular rocky forests that the town of Juana Díaz has. In addition, you will safely and responsibly get to know the pond and the crack.
- Difficulty level: Route rated at a difficult level (3). Excellent physical condition suitable for this type of event is required. The activity includes a 3 to 4 hour walk through the rocky forest in the sun. Then we will leave in each vehicle to the La Grieta pond in Collores de Juana Díaz.
- *Activity for adults and young people between the ages of 18 and 20 who are authorized by their parents and accompanied by an adult.
- You should come with a good breakfast.
- You must read and complete the waiver of responsibility document upon arrival at the meeting point.
- Meeting point:

Required equipment:
- car in good condition that can climb steep and narrow roads for more than 30 minutes (if not, they must be willing to do carpooling)
- hiking boots
- pants and long light-colored shirt (suitable for hiking)
- reusable water bottle
- reusable utensils (plate, glass, spoon
- drinking water (minimum 1.5 gallons per person)
- hydrating drinks additional to water
- snacks (I suggest high carbohydrates, calorie level and fruits such as ripe bananas and Chinese mandarins among others)
- change of clothes.

Your contribution includes:
1. Educational and interpretive experience guided through the stone forest and charca la grieta.
2. Creole lunch prepared by the community. Food is consumed between 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. (Please inform if you are vegan, vegetarian or allergic to any food.)
Event Difficulty:
Level 1: Easy / we recommend it for people of all ages.
Level 2: Regular/includes difficult hikes, so we recommend parental discretion and supervision over their children's participation.
Level 3: Difficult / we recommend it only for people accustomed to long, difficult walks on uneven terrain. We do not recommend the participation of children.
Level 4: Extreme / we recommend it only for people in excellent physical condition who can handle the challenges of the nature of the place. Includes long walks under difficult environmental conditions. We check your physical condition, your equipment and your clothing before starting.
