Come enjoy one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Barrio Nuevo community of the town of Bayamón. We will explore the unique banks of the Charco Prieto river until we reach its impressive waterfall more than 100 feet high. From there you will appreciate an unparalleled panoramic view of the entire unimaginable natural and healing environment.

You will be walking through slippery spaces and narrow paths.

Event specifications:

• Difficulty level: Qualified tour of a regular level (2). Suitable physical condition is required for this type of event. The activity includes a 2-hour walk.
• *Activity for adults and young people between the ages of 18 and 20 who are authorized by their parents and accompanied by an adult.
• You should come with a good breakfast.
• You must read and complete the waiver of responsibility document upon arrival at the meeting point.
• Meeting point:
  Rexville Plaza, Bayamón. We left for El Charco Prieto at 9:00 am punctually, so we recommend arriving early or on time.

Required equipment:

• car in good condition that can climb steep and narrow roads for more than 30 minutes (if not, they must be willing to do carpooling)
• closed footwear/preferably hiking boots
• pants and long shirt (light colors)
• reusable water bottle
• swimsuit
• drinking water
• snacks
• change of clothes and towel
• layer of rain
• sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• camera or it could be your cell phone
• hat or cap
• Insect repellent
• bring your epipen if you are allergic to any insects
• Bring your safety helmet (report if you do not have one).

Event Difficulty:

Level 1: Easy / we recommend it for people of all ages.

Level 2: Moderate/includes moderate walking, so we recommend parental discretion and supervision over their children's participation.

Level 3: Difficult / we recommend it only for people accustomed to long, difficult walks on uneven terrain. We do not recommend the participation of children.

Level 4: Extreme / we recommend it only for people in excellent physical condition who can handle the challenges of the nature of the place. Includes long walks under difficult environmental conditions. We check your physical condition, your equipment and your clothing before starting.
