The center of the universe

Come and experience being at the Center of the Universe! On this educational tour we will visit the healing hot springs, the recreation plaza, the city's Cerro Picó and the Coamo canyon waterfall. You will learn about the impressive and important history of this ancient southern municipality.

EVENT SPECIFICATIONS:

QUALIFIED TOUR OF AN EASY LEVEL (1) SUITABLE PHYSICAL CONDITION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TYPE OF EVENT. THE ACTIVITY INCLUDES A 1.5 HOUR WALK IN THE SUM OF THE TOTALITY. THIS IS NOT COUNTING THE TIME DRIVING IN A CAR.

*You will be walking on some stairs, ramps and they could be wet.

***MUST COME WELL BREAKFAST.

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING FOR THE EVENT:

-CAR IN GOOD CONDITION THAT CAN CLIMB STEEP AND NARROW ROADS FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES.

-CLOSED FOOTWEAR/PREFERABLY FIELD BOOTS AND/OR OUTDOOR SANDALS.

-PANTS AND LONG SHIRT (light colors)

-SWIMSUIT.

-TOWEL

-REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE.

-DRINKING WATER (2 liters).

-HEALTHY SNACKS.

Each of our experiences are categorized by levels of difficulty.

Level 1: Easy / we recommend it for people of all ages. Walk of 30 minutes or less. Requires good physical condition.

Level 2: Moderate / includes walks of more than 1 hour, so we recommend parental discretion and supervision over their children's participation. Requires good physical condition.

Level 3: Difficult / we recommend it only for people accustomed to walks of more than 3 hours on uneven and difficult terrain. We do not recommend the participation of children. Requires excellent physical condition.

Level 4: Extreme / we recommend it only for people in excellent physical condition who can handle the challenges of the nature of the place. Includes long walks under difficult environmental conditions for more than 5 hours. We check your physical condition, your equipment and your clothing before starting.
