TOUR
Come and hike with us beyond Salto Collores (the channel) and dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Guayo River in the heights of the Collores neighborhood of Juana Díaz. This wonderful place will capture all your senses and you will connect with Nature in an unparalleled way.
You will be walking through clay, slippery spaces and river rocks.
Event specifications:
- Difficulty level: qualified course of a regular level (2). Suitable physical condition is required for this type of event. The activity includes a 1.5-hour walk.
- *You will be walking through some slippery spaces and over rocks.
- *activity for adults and young people between the ages of 14 and 17 who are authorized by their parents and accompanied by an adult.
- You should come with a good breakfast.
- You must read and complete the waiver of responsibility document upon arrival at the meeting point.
- Meeting point:
Parking in front of the Juana Díaz Subway at 8:30am. We leave for Salto Collores at 9:00am sharp, so we recommend arriving early or on time.

Required equipment:
- car in good condition that can climb steep and narrow roads for more than 30 minutes (if not, they must be willing to do carpooling).
- bring your swimsuit.
- closed shoes/preferably water shoes.
- comfortable clothing of long shirt and pants (light colors)
- hat or cap
- reusable water bottle
- Drinking water (32 ounces or 1 liter)
- Lifeguard (If you don't know how to swim and don't have one, we have one available upon request)
- gardening gloves
- healthy snacks
- change of clothes
- layer of rain
- eco friendly sunscreen
- camera 📸
- Insect repellent
- If you are allergic to insects or bees, bring your epipen.
- first aid kit in your backpack
This experience includes:
- Educational and interpretive experience, tour guided by a trained and certified professional.
- Secure parking and bathrooms.
Event Difficulty:
Level 1: Easy/walk 30 minutes or less and we recommend it for people of all ages who are in good physical condition.
Level 2: Moderate / includes moderate walks of more than 1 hour between going and returning, so we recommend parental discretion and supervision over their children's participation.
Level 3: Difficult / hike of 3 hours or more and we recommend it only for people accustomed to long, difficult walks on uneven terrain. We do not recommend the participation of children.
Level 4: Extreme/hike of 5 hours or more. We recommend it only for people in excellent physical condition who can handle the challenges of the nature of the place. Includes long walks under difficult environmental conditions. We check your physical condition, your equipment and your clothing before starting.
