Come on an ancestral adventure where you will learn how to prepare the food of the gods, from the harvest of the fruit to the cocoa bar. It will be artisanal in the beautiful facilities of the Carite 3.0 agro-ecological farm in Guayama, Puerto Rico.

With your own hands you will create the bars in a rustic and simple way. You will also drink cocoa with wonderful intention that will open your heart.

In this experience you will awaken all your senses from a unique place in the southern mountains of our islands. In the vicinity of one of the oldest lakes in southern Puerto Rico, Lago Carite. You will enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view to the sound of the coquí singing and the forest birds.

• *You will be walking through some slippery spaces.
• *Activity for adults and young people between the ages of 14 and 20 who are authorized by their parents and accompanied by an adult
• You should come with a good breakfast.
• You must read and complete the waiver of responsibility document upon arrival at the meeting point.

Required equipment:

• car in good condition that can climb steep and narrow roads for more than 30 minutes.
• closed footwear/preferably hiking boots
• comfortable clothing of long shirt and pants (light colors)
• hat or cap
• reusable water bottle
• gloves
• your lunch
• change of clothes (just in case it rains)
• layer of rain
• sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• camera (preferably shockproof and waterproof)
• hat or cap
• Insect repellent
• If you are allergic to insects or bees, bring your epipen.
• backpack with first aid kit, water and healthy snacks.

• Educational tour of the cocoa farm.
• Artisanal cocoa preparation workshop.

Event Difficulty:

Level 1: Easy / we recommend it for people of all ages.

Level 2: Regular/includes difficult hikes, so we recommend parental discretion and supervision over their children's participation.

Level 3: Difficult / we recommend it only for people accustomed to long, difficult walks on uneven terrain. We do not recommend the participation of children.

Level 4: Extreme / we recommend it only for people in excellent physical condition who can handle the challenges of the nature of the place. Includes long walks under difficult environmental conditions. We check your physical condition, your equipment and your clothing before starting.
