Delve into the adventure of hiking, getting to know and connecting with one of the most spectacular and unparalleled rocky forests in the town of Salinas, Las Piedras Del Collado, better known as Cerros Las Tetas. For years you have observed them from afar from the road but now you have the opportunity to get to know them up close. The ancient trails found in the bowels of the hill will take you to unimaginable places. This concludes at Cerro Las Tetas above with an exquisite Creole lunch prepared by the community.

You will be walking through rocky, slippery spaces and narrow paths.

Event specifications:

• Difficulty level: qualified route of a difficult level (3). Good physical condition is required for this type of event. The activity includes a 3.5-hour walk.

Required equipment:

• car in good condition that can climb steep and narrow roads for more than 30 minutes.

• closed footwear/preferably hiking boots
• comfortable clothing of long shirt and pants (light colors)

• drinking water (2 liters to 1 gallon)
• safety helmet
• gardening gloves
• reusable utensils (plate, glass, spoon)
• healthy snacks
• change of clothes
• layer of rain
• sunscreen

• camera (preferably shockproof and waterproof)
• Insect repellent
• If you are allergic to insects or bees, bring your epipen.

This experience includes:

1. Educational and interpretive experience, tour guided by a trained and certified professional.
2. Includes food prepared by the community upon return from hiking (Creole menu).

Event Difficulty:

Level 1: Easy / we recommend it for people of all ages.

Level 2: Moderate / includes moderate walking for more than 1 hour, which we recommend parental discretion and supervision over their children's participation.

Level 3: Difficult / hike of more than 3 hours, we recommend it only for people accustomed to long and difficult walks on uneven terrain. We do not recommend the participation of children.

Level 4: Extreme / hike of more than 5 hours, we recommend it only for people in excellent physical condition and who can handle the challenges of the nature of the place. Includes difficult environmental conditions. We check your physical condition, your equipment and your clothing before starting.
